Hi,

I'm interested in finding out if there's a specific site (or perhaps sites) with cracks, serial numbers, keygen's, etc. for Mac programs. I've done some research on the topic, but only seem to be coming up with sites that provide these wonders only for Windows programs.

Be glad to find out more!

Thanks.

Well... I have now. Not helpful, though (and this is why we're supposed to be here - help).

Have fun!

The question you are asking is breaking forum rules. Your post has been reported.

Don't know where "here" is, but:

"jaywalk" : verb [intrans.]
cross or walk in the street or road unlawfully or without regard for approaching traffic

Cracks, serial numbers, keygen's, etc. - allows FREE 100% usage of particular softwares!
Serial numbers, keygen's, etc. obtained by purchasing the software - NOT free!

Saving $ by obtaining full usage of a software by means other than purchasing it is obviously SO wrong!

What do you do for a living?

If you're a programmer, the proceeds from your work go to put bread on the table for your family. When people steal your work without paying for it, you can't feed your family. So, you're saying that there's nothing wrong with that?

Way to live life - tell your parents they did a great job the next time you see them </sarcasm>

haha I love people that are so brain dead that they think this is the purpose of a help site. I used to write a lot on the DS modding boards and all it would ever be is people asking for free stuff. Thought I had escaped them but I guess they are everywhere.

Well currently I have a problem in both Software Licensing and DRM on Media, so I can justify Piracy it to a degree.

Just because it's Illegal doesn't mean it's not justified.

I think everybody is a bit guilty of wanting a cheaper, or in this case free, solutions to everything in life (I mean come on no body used Napster or the such to download music) but, we have to respect the rules of the forums after all.

And to be honest buying my music from iTunes feels a heck of a lot better :D

Anything can be justified depending on who's perspective you're looking at it from. Does that mean it's OK to steal from people who have food because you don't?

I'm sure everyone thinks of the cop's family when they pay their speeding ticket... Or that you, cwa107, thought of pilgrim's when you made that attempt at an insult. And that everyone's so law-abiding and such a goody-goody that they've never been tempted to save some money!

That's different, by stealing someones food you are preventing them from eating it. By "stealing" a copy of Photoshop for instance you are not giving your Money to Adobe not preventing someone else from using it.

The only reason people have so many Software Applications, Movies or Music is because it's Free in reality if they couldn't do that, they simply wouldn't.

So in alot of cases the Developer simply wouldn't get any money from it. They should stop concentrating on DRM and more on Fairer Licensing.

Saving money is one thing, stealing is another. If it didn't have value, you wouldn't want to use it. If you take it without paying for it, you've stolen it from the person that created something of value. End of story.

I pay for the software that I use. If it's overpriced or I can't afford it, I don't buy it AND I don't use it. No man is free of sin, but I do try to avoid wronging others intentionally. Just because it's easier to steal from someone when you don't have to look them in the face, doesn't mean it's right or justified.

How dull :)

I still prefer to have the cash in my pocket, and you still get paid at the end of the day for the program you've created. Considering the fact you're not the only person out there who pays for software, families of programmers won't go hungry tonight.

I'd like to see someone who didnt download music illegally fill an 80 GB iPod solely with music, while still having a place to live lol.

Sure, most software costs money. If theres a free alternative, like NeoOffice, I'm going to use it. So far I had to pony up for Toast. Yeah it was like 80 bucks, but hey my Word Processor, Image Editor, Media Player, System Maintence Program, DVD Library Program, and Virus Scanner were all free. When you save easily $300 how much can you complain about buying a program or two? And I'm a college student!
