Problem with the Slow Motion Effect in iMovie I NEED IT FIXED NOW HELP!

Hey its the night before my final is due in one of my film classes and I NEED the slow motion effect to work and it refuses, all the other effects work but i try to apply that one to any clip and it just doesn't effect it what so ever. I've tried it on short clips, long clips nothing PLEASE HELP! omg

Nevermind? I had been saving the project to my external HD, I decided just to check seeing if I resaved to my internal HD, reopened and applied the effect if it worked and YEP so weird....thanks anyways
