Battery problem ??

I was wondering if this is somthing that happens to everybody or just me.

When I charge my iPod and then leave it turned off for 1day or so when i next use it the battery is nearly flat. is this usual ??

well...it does use batter power even if it's off....to keep the date and time going...like laptops...

so it should use some battery...but it shoudln't be almost dead after one day...if you're putting it to sleep when it's nearly full...however...the battery meter is kinda flaky anyways...a lot of times when you turn it on after leaving it for a while, or when you take it off your dock after it charges, the battery will show itslef as nearly gone...or not full....start listening to it...and it'll eventually correct itself, I imagine that's the problem you're having.
