Semi Broken Click Pad - Any Ideas?

So, I accidentally spilled a little root beer on my laptop, not a lot but enough. Anyway, the track pad is a "little" sticky. It works fine but it makes a sticky click noise and overall is very annoying.

I realize its my fault, and I have applecare but I was wondering if anyone has had this happen. Are there any guides to taking the MacBook apart and cleaning the pad on the inside?

If you disassemble your macbook you will void the warranty

I did something similar apple fixed it, I just didn't metion I spilled something on it
