I am having some issues where we migrated files from a W2k server to a W2k3 server. We have Appletalk configured and a zone set up that includes this server. When my G4's and G5's go to connect via AFP, they either can't connect or get errors. One error is "The alias could not be opened, because the original item cannot be found. Currently the machines are connecting via SMB, but there have been sporadic issues. We want to be able to connect everyone via AFP again. I wasn't sure if the previous solution would work that was suggested for Samba, by downloading UAM from Microsoft. Does anyone have any thoughts?
