I resently set up a wireless-n airport extreme, and I'm wanting to know what's the best way to find out exactly how fast I can send and receive info. It appears my downloads are faster, but I want to see the actual speed values
testing wireless speed.

This only tests the line coming in from your ISP and not actually how fast you can send wirelessly, the only way that I know how to do this is by hooking a HDD to the Airport base station and timing how long it takes to send a file. Then do some calculations and you have it This might be a little complicated but this is the only way I know of.
