My RAM is being sucked up like an Industrial Vacuum...

Apparently I only have 5mb of RAM left..

Im only running Finder, Dashboard and Safari..

I have 512mb of RAM

Im going to have to upgrade..

Plus my CPU temp is at 37 degrees and my CPU Fan is going at 1199rpm

Anything wrong?

1GB should speed things up nicely. It may just be that your computer is having to dig into virtual memory, increasing disk utilization and as a result, generating more heat. Do you have plenty of room around your iMac to let it breathe?

I believe is a normal fan speed for the iMac.
