It may be obvious, but try ebay.com or ebay.co.uk or whatever, depending on where you live ;)

A new Powerbook can be run on AC power while getting its first full charge, right?

Sure! Would anyone really be able to wait for it to charge before using it anyway?

There is no way I could wait, unless my desktop was still there!

Man, I'm not sure where to find the best deals on powerbooks but it is definitly not ebay. Talk about buying other peoples junk. Ebay is known for extremely high prices on all laptop computers, and usually you can get a new one for pennies more. Your best bet would be a new machine or somebody you could trust to not have beat the thing, just my two cents though.

I'm not surprised. Ebay... well... I think the best way to save on a close to new Mac is the refurbs...
