I have a G4 powerbook. I left the computer for 5 minutes, came back and the desktop (the entire interface, if that's the right word) moves as I move my mouse. I have tried messing with the screen resolutions but to no avail. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance.

On my iMac Core2Duo I can enable something similiar to what you speak of. I'm just not sure if it was available in the PowerBook G4 and accompanying OS.

Go to System Preferences and have a look in Universal Access if you see it. See if something has been enabled which zooms the screen.

Another thing if your using Tiger is you can set the mouse wheel to zoom in/out while holding the Control key. This is done is System Prefs -> Mouse & Keyboard.

Maybe someone did this while you were away as a prank?
