I used the DVD Xpress DX2 It worked wonderful now I am getting a macbook pro with vista on it and it will not work.It keeps saying their will be a update for it but I doubt that like allot of people.What can I use for a mac I have composite video on the back on my vcr and I want to just plug it into my macbook for recording and video editing.Does anybody know any products like this that will work with a mac.Is their programs on the mac so I can cut clips and join them and covert them to other files?Thanks.

iMovie (included with your Mac) should take care of this nicely, assuming you have a means of capturing the analog video (like a digital camcorder or a capture device).

Thats what I need a analog capture device that hooks into my vcr does anybody know any good ones and that will work with Leopard later?

You can always use a digital camcorder (most of them have firewire ports and will act as an analog capture device).
