how can i close 200 finder windows without having to manualy do it ?

Apple icon (top left corner of screen)

select Force Quit

select Finder

click Relaunch button

wait

they dont work - just close the finder and re-open it with all the 200 windows ?

any ideas ?

i have tried restarting and shutting down but no luck.

Hold the option key down and click on the close window button (the red one)
it will close all open windows (works in applications also)

if they close individually and not the way that I indicate, then you have other problems.

lol i accidently opened all of my itunes folders.

so all the music folders. lol
