I will be getting a MacBook Pro in the near future and want to give my Powerbook G4 to my daughter. Once I use Apple's Setup Assistant to migrate my data and applications to the new MBP, how do I remove all my stuff from the PB and set it up for her?

Thanks!

Use your PowerBook's install discs to wipe the drive and reinstall the OS.

Hmmm...anyway I can keep the applications like MS Office and iLife on it and transfer those to her? It's not like I don't know the new owner. :yinyang:

Thank you for the links! Sounds very simple once I transfer the data over to the MBP. Will have to budget in a new iLife package if that can't be transferred.
