Sounds like a reasonable plan. You may see better deals on slightly smaller hard drives - do you need 80 gig?

10.4 before June I think a bit unlikely. But 10.3.3 is running estremely well as far as I know :) :D

Here is may guess. OS X 10.4 will be 64bit enabled. We will get a few more dot revisions before 10.4.

You must LOVE that 17" PB

I think I am going to get the 20" iMac - THEY ROCK!

I heard they will be upgraded soon so hopefully before june :)

btw i looked at the sight and it appears not to be the mini

but it was SOOOO small :D compared to my HD-500 i thought it was

the mini must be tiny

I am gonna try HARD To get my dad to take me again :)

Its not that i dont wanna go again ( NEVER :D ) its just he needs to see the light and i can play with another 20" imac :D

they need to have a sideless G5 on the window :)

The world of Apple amazes me

Think Different! :

Edit - hmm, seems that there are new iMacs coming soon, I'm not sure if iI should get a powerbook now that they have been recently updated - or wait for the iMacs , or get one now

Right, I made my mind up.. Thought long and hard.

They are all exellent, but each one has its pros and cons.. (portability.. power ect)

I need to take it to my dads every week so I am better with a laptop

If I got a desktop, yes I'd be really happy, but then I'd regrett it when I'm using doz because I couldn't bring along my mac :(

I have choice of getting an eMac now and a iBook 14 inch, or a Powerbook with as much as I can get at the start of June

I can either get the top iBook with extra ram and some software etc.. but will I regret the choice? After all I get bigger HD (I'm going with the 80 for the PB) and more screen and better graphics

I have ONE month, to learn about OS X, visit the Apple Center, get software, sell stuff, get money

I'm going to hope for the 17" model with 128mb graphics, but if I cant afford it, can always go for the 15"2 :D

Thanks, I'm sure to enjoy

They say good things come to people who wait :D:D:D
