will a macbook push a 22 inch monitor?

i just bought a 22 inch widescreen lcd. will i be ok since it has a subpar video card? thanks guys

It's not the size of the monitor that counts. It the amount of pixels you can push.

You should be able to do about 1600x just fine.

You should be able to do about 1600x just fine.

A Macbook can actually push 1920 x 1200 pixels on an external display.

Extended desktop and video mirroring: Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display and up to 1920 by 1200 pixels on an external display, both at millions of colors

And "subpar" is a terrible and incorrect description for the MacBook's video card.
