I just purchased a new SD card reader, and the included installation CD is a mini. Is it safe to put in the slot drive of my 5G intel iMac?

Thanks for any help,

Nope. Its not safe to put mini cds in the majority of slot drives. Very few will actually work with them.

You do not need to install software for a card reader to work

Yeah, it's working fine, thanks. I kinda knew that it would work without having to load the software, and was mostly curious about the CD's. Is this going to be a more common sight?
