Hello:
Is there a way to connect my PS3 into my iMac? I searched the forum, but couldn't find anything that made sense.

Thanks!

Well unless you hack your iMac to allow your Display to be used via an External Source then it can't be done unfortunately. I haven't tired or neither plan on trying this anytime soon so I can't help you any more than that sorry.

Theoretically you could use one of the EyeTV devices to input an analog signal from your PS3 into the iMac with only a bit of lag, but then it would seem quite a waste to buy a PS3.

You could use the EyeTV devices that have the no lag option but they don't have any products for component or hdmi so you would be stuck in SD

Get a dell 2407? Has component for HD and you could use it as a second monitor for your imac...

Cheap and high quality don't go together. Why play PS3 if you're going to watch it on a crap screen??
