Other than the obvious, what's the difference between the 45W and the 65W power adapters (bricks) for the iBooks and PowerBooks?
Is there a specific application for each?

Thanks.

45W is for the iBook, 65W is for the PowerBook. Different power uses for each computer so different power adapters.

The way it usually works is that you can technically use the 45W adapter on the Powerbook, but only for charging. You can't use the computer at the same time. The same goes for the Macbook/Macbook Pro adapters.

Keep in mind that this should only be used on the rare occasion where you have no other choice. Get the appropriate adapter for your specific model.
