I just recently bought an iMac. i received an email from a friend and he sent a short video clip in "wmv" format, and I cannot not view. I did finally view it at work on a PC, and it works fine. Any sugestions.

you have a few different options depending on what you want to do.. you could get the qt plugin as suggested or you could download a few different programs that will allow you to play wmv files.. VLC is one or they also offer a windows media player for mac.. you can find both programs at www.macupdate.com or www.versiontracker.com and they are both free..
