So, I've got my power cord plugged into my MacBookPro and the green lights on the bottom of the computer are three solid and one flashing in terms of charge but my menu bar reads 35 minutes left on battery charge.

This sounds like it's an OS issue. Help. Please.

yea exactly, its telling you how much time until your battery is fully charged.

once you unplug your power cord, it will tell you how much time your battery has until it dies.

kgeier82 and gin8u hit it right on the head.

When you have the charger plugged in, the Mac will tell you the time remaining till the battery is fully charged. When you take the plug out, it changes to how much time you have left till the battery runs out.

Try leaving the plug in for a couple of hours till it's completely charged. It should say "Charged" instead of giving you a time.
