I like OS X!!!

Wanted to thank several of you who have been a great help as I switched from Win95 to Mac. I upgraded my 96 RAM to 512 RAM (yes, underneath that daughterboard is the lower slot! I could see that the upgrade card would not fit the slot on the left (it turns out to be the video card) so I called 4AllMemory, the seller of my RAM, and the tech told me what to do). Upgraded from 8.6 to 9.2.2 and then to OS 10.2. My iMac runs smoothly, and is much faster than under 8.6. Switching from HD 10.2 to 9.2.2 and back is a breeze. Printer works. As I posted on the OS 9 forum, I managed to lose my email stuff when I went from 8.6 to 9.2.2, but actually, that isn't a problem. I have a 40GB HD to install as soon as I get the time. If there is a downside to Macs, I haven't found it. Hank

Windows 95, yeah, I'd switch too Even an older Mac is still better than a new WinTel PC anyday. Congrats and enjoy.
