Adium and Messenger problem

Hi there- first time poster please be kind.... I'm on a Mac G4 using OSX 10.3.9. Since MSN enforced upgrading I've been unable to log in to Messenger, just getting a 'service is not available to you or you may not be connected to the internet message'. So far so annoying. A friend suggested using Adium, which seemed to work perfectly and seems to be even better than MSN, but all of a sudden it also decided I couldn't log in, giving me a connection error message. Any thoughts on what the problem is? I've tried logging in with different users and getting the same message so it's not a problem with the hotmail account. Help! and thanks!

i would recomend unistalling both and reinstalling (download again).

Throwing out your Adium preference file(s) might be a good idea as well.

Hi, I am new to either forum and Mac...
I got eMac with OSX 10.3.9, processor 1Ghz G4, memory 768MB sdram...
I can open email, see the inbox but not open individual email.
Also everytime I try to open youtube safari crash and quit.
Could anyone help this poor soul??
