intel mac book memory would work on mini

well i just upgraded my mac book memory to 2 gigs and i got the old 512 X2 memory from the macbook...are does those memory compatible with the mac mini?...do they use the same?..its sounds pretty the same coz its ddr2 and same 667 mhz i guess?

I'm going to assume you're talking about an Intel Mac Mini. If so, then yes, the same type of memory will work in both machines.

However, if you're talking about a G4 Mac Mini, then the Macbook's RAM will NOT work in the Mac Mini as it uses a completely different type.
