I tried on mine, my dad's, and my sister's... it won't work. I tried transferring a folder full of mp3's and it would say that it can't transfer because there's not enough free space when our usb flash disks were empty (we emptied them out!). What it DOES transfer are folders that are EMPTY.

Can anyone help? :(

make sure everything is removed from the usb drive. i mean everything. make sure you can view all hidden files (this might be easier for you on a windows machine if you're more comfortable (there's also an option in the 3rd party program onyx to do this on OS X).

most likley there is some sort of restore file or trash/recycler file on there that is taking up the space.

another option actually would be to format it.
in OS X this can be done from the disk utility in applications/utilities.

did u delete stuff off the drive, and then not empty the trash while the drive was plugged in?

sounds like a solution
