Hi folks,

I'm almost new to Mac Pro!
My old printer HP Photosmart 7350 doesn't seem to be happy and won't connect properly with this MAC.

I can see it is there but it doesn't print...

Is it a driver's problem??
Can you help, please? :headphone

Did you just plug it in or did you install any drivers?

If you didn't install drivers, then you might want to give that a try and see if it solves the problem.

No...

No, unfortanetely nothing happened.... it showed a message with some weird carachters.
Going to the Library>Printers>HP there is no such thing as Photosmart...

I guess I'll be buying a new printer some day,

Thank you,

Did you install the correct version? The site I linked to has three different drivers, one for 10.1, another for 10.2/3/4, and a third one for 10.1/2/3

Same Issue

I'm beginning to think there may be a problem with HP's drivers they provide on the website.

The CD that comes with the printer supports v10.1.5, the one that HP provides on their website is supposedly supporting 10.4.x however, I haven't been able to get the printer to communicate with my Mac either.

I am able to print a test page from the printer utility, and when you try to add a printer, it shows up in the printer's list, however, when it asks for the driver, there is no driver in the list that corresponds to the correct printer. There is no information about where the driver is stored in any documentation I've looked at so far, so I can't even manually point the computer to the associated driver for the printer.

Getting very frustrating, any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
