Best external HD?

I would like to get an external HD for myself. I would plan to use it for backup and just general use (raw files for video editing, etc...). I would like to have this be used for both my iBook and my (or others) PCs. What are the best ones you have seen or own yourself? Thanks!

I'd suggest getting a good internal drive, and buying a separate FireWire enclosure.

Look for FireWire, or at least USB 2.0 (if your computer has it).
