Dual Monitor question

I have a dual-monitor setup with my powerbook, but sometimes, I just want to use the lcd that is attached. Is there a way to turn off the powerbook display completely? Hitting F1 all the way seems to dim it a lot but objects are still visible.

if you're using a usb mouse or keyboard....just shut your powerbook, then remove the usb mouse or keyboard...you powerbook will come out of sleep, then you can put your usb back in and you'll have just the other screen...but there are other ways too I beleive....for keeping the powerbook closed while your'e still using it could make it get extremely hot.
