Safari Tabbed Browsing Question

I have my tabbed browsing set to open links in the same window via tabs but it still opens a new window. Anyone know how to fix this?

if I want something to open in a new tab, I apple+click it. That does the trick for me.

That "open links in new window/tab" is for external programs which open web pages. Just clicking on a link will change the window unless you command/right click it to open in a new tab.

Hey,
I use a plugin called "SafariStand".
It fixes the problem of Safari opening up new windows - among other things.
