Here's my problem, I had web sharing set up more or less correctly, but I believed that my ISP was blocking port 80 (because I could not access my site outside my local network) so I changed it to port 8080. Now when I type my global IP with :8080 it goes through, but then tries to access my server on the *.local address. How do I stop my server from redirecting from the correct IP to the incorrect .local address?!?!?!!?

Um.... huh. Is the web page you're trying to access doing a redirect (javascript or php) ?

My ISP also blocks 8080. Try 81 or 8181.
