Hello All

I am hoping someone might be able to help me with a problem I am having. I have a 2'5 inch drive that I have in a external cradle. The drive is going bad so I want to move some of the data off. The drive mounts fine on a iMac that I have. I select the files and then drag/drop them onto the desktop. Everything works fine until it discovers a file that is bad/unreadable. At that point the transfer stops. There is no option to skip the bad file and continue the transfer. Since the drive has multiple bad files on it you can see why this is problamatic. My question is this. Is there some sort of file transfer utility that I can use to move the files that will let me continue past bad files instead of stopping the entire transfer?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Yeah, this might do it...

--ignore-errors (delete even if there are I/O errors)

If you don't know how to use rsync let me know. and I'll walk you through it.
