Hi,

Pretty new to OS X here. Any way I can remote into my macbook from a windows pc? Either via a web browser or a program? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Yes. It's built into mac os x and it's easy to enable:

Open Sharing from the system preferences.
Turn on Apple Remote Desktop and click Access Privileges.
Turn on VNC viewers may control screen with password:
Enter a password. Click OK.

From the PC you can now connect with VNC clients. I suggest TightVNC.
