nice desktop (im now using the same wallpaper) what app are you using to show the itunes playing thing on the desktop?

It's actually not really on the desktop itself, but floats on top of all windows for a few seconds then disappears (happens everytime a new song plays). It's Synergy. It actually costs around 7ish dollars, but I really like some of the features. Try it out for free at

http://wincent.com/a/products/synergy-classic/

There's actually a program that displays song info on the desktop that looks a lot similar, but forgot what's it called. sorry.

I'm using synergy too. I like it because it also has moveable controls that I moved up to the status bar and it comes and goes whenever I open or close iTunes

I'm really happy with how this turned out. I think this is my favorite desktop I've made yet.

I have a program that's similar called DeskTunes (lower-left corner). It's a free app from MacUpdate.com, but you don't get any controls or anything. All you really get is the current song's title in the lower lefthand corner of the screen. You'll also get album artwork if it's available for the song you're listening to.

Wow, what a beautiful shot! Did you take it yourself? Nice Desktop! :)

Thanks! I was in the French Alps snowboarding last week. That shot is an extract of a panorama I took from the top of one of the Pistes.
