iMac problem

brad new computer, week old or with me. Start the computer and it has lines going from left to right on a 45 degree agrre, scuare little boxes everywhere??? help anyway to do a reset or hard booth. the mouse pointer i can see ok nothing else is working can't get to a menue or do any short cut keys, anyway to press control something while start up please help???????

Take it back to the shop. I think your graphics card is shot!

yea thats could also be a logic board problem...definitley take it to the store right away

Thanks for your help. I did and the logic board is bad, so they will replace the computer. So I'm sending the computer back. do i want to replace or not that is the question???
