pdf how can i make one what do i need to download?

basically the title.

how can i turn a word document into a pdf?is there a built in ap or do i need to download and pay for stuff or is there a free download (prefered)

Your Mac's Specs
13" MBA. 15" MBP. iPhone 4. 3G Pad 2.
Making PDFs is built in to Mac.
File > Print. The make PDF button is at the bottom of the print menu.
