If I wanted to reformat my Mac to the way it was when I bought it, such as no songs, videos, pictures, documents, or any other application or file I may have downloaded while using it, what would I have to do? If I did reformat it, would it still have the whole iLife set? Thanks in advanced.

Reformat and as long as you have ALL the CDs and /or DVDs that came with your Mac when new then yes the iLife suite will be on the discs. If it was a while ago you can download the latest COMBO updater 10.4.9 from Apple. rather than using SU. Software update might be easier to update iLife.
