Computers Wont see my ipod any more.

A while back I forgot my password to my computer which I normaly put songs on my ipod thru. So now I normaly go over to my friends house to put songs on there. After A put a few songs on the ipod the computer just wont see it any more. It can charge perfectly there for I know the cord and ipod is fine Its just no computer will see my ipod. I Even tried computers at other friends houses and every thing. Does any one know why it can charge off the computer but the computer will not see the Ipod. It wont even show up in my computer.

Weird, are all the computers that you are trying to see it in PCs?

When mine was acting up I couldnt see it in a PC but could in a Mac. I was only able to see it in a PC upon placing it in disk mode.
