Need help with speakers

hi guys

i'm new here and i have a question about speakers

i have harmon/kardon speakers linked up to my Dual 2ghz G5 and i keep reading that the apple pro speakers can be used in cojunction with the harmon/kardon ones. Is this possible and if so how do i do it

G4 1Ghz OS X 10.4.7
I don't have external speakers, but I bet you can find your answer this way: open Finder, select Mac help from the top menu bar and type external speakers or such

Are you talking about a surround-sound setup? You'll probably need a different audio card (internal or external). I don't have any of the equipment you're talking about, so see what others say too.
