I took my MagSafe adapter off of my MacBook during the day yesterday and forgot to plug it back in last night and the battery ran out. Could letting that happen just one time cause any problems?

I'm pretty sure it is fine. When you need to calibrate your battery you have to kill it(let the computer run until the battery dies and then let it be for 5 hours, then plug it back in). So I'm pretty sure you're fine.

Your battery will be fine. You can do a search in MacHelp on "calibrating battery" for the steps on how to calibrate your battery and how often you need to do it.
