Hey All.. need some advice...

recently purchased a new refurb macbook from apple. in the first week, i had one kernel error. 3rd week, i added 2gb of gskill ram. since then i have had 3 more kernel errors. i dont see any pattern to when they occur. have run main menu items, hardware check, repaired permissions, etc. have not reset pram yet. any ideas? is this acceptable? can there still be a ram problem even if the hardware diagnostics say it's ok? maybe i should just take it to the apple store next time i'm through omaha. thanks for any help.

cheers,

Tim

Kernel Panics are almost always caused by RAM. I would try replacing that to see if fixes the issue.

As schweb suggested remove the additional RAM. Then see if the system become more stable again. If it does, then you know you have bad RAM.
