My new Macbook Pro 2.16 Intel Core 2 OS X 10.4.9 and connect card Merlin XU870 don't like each other.
Tried solutions:
1) installed vodafone sw v. 2.06.05.02. Mac doesn't see the card and if it sees it when the led turns green the mac freezes.
2) installed Novatel Merlin XU870 original driver v.1.7.2, the same as above mentioned
3) installed WWAN update for Mac the same as 1). In this case the Mac doesn't work even if the card is not plugged.
4) installed launch2net: it doesn't freezes but it works slow and it stops and goes every 2 minutes.
5) replaced SIM 256 with a 64 (advice found in a forum) the same as 1)
