I tried searching, but could not find any topics on deleting files. One of the very few things I cannot get used to on my iMac is how you delete files and such. You have to hit Apple Key + Backspace. (or delete?)

Is there another way to delete selecting files? Can I change it to just a single key stroke, or am I stuck with it?

Also - Is there a way to change the global font size? For people with bad eyes it is hard to see some of the text in the OS that is real small. So far I have only been able to change the font size in the mail client.

Thanks

Command+Delete is the only way to delete files.

Text size is not editable without third party applications. I'd suggest lowering your resolution.

I believe you can change the size of the font by openning a window and do a command-j. There you should be able to change anything for the current window or all windows.

Have a look at System Preferences > Universal Access
There may be an option in there which could help.
