Can I make a Voice recording?

Hello.

I am certian that at one time I was able to make a simple voice recording through my iMac's internal microphone and then save it. Now for the life of me I can't figure it out. Did I just imagine this, or is there a way to do this?

G'day williamjsquier & welcome to Mac-Forums.

Fire up GarageBand and if you have your sound recording setup to utilise the internal mic then create a new real instrument track and then click on the record button after making sure you can monitor the recording.

Thanks... I will try that. Could have sworn I did it a simpler way w/o garage band.
