Small cd

Can I use a small "install" cd in my G5 I mac? I am afraid to slide it in the cd opening on the side for fear of it not setting properly?

Don't try it. It will cause problems. The only slot-loading drive that I have ever seen that can take big and small CD's is on a Wii.

So all those 9cm (I think) discs are useless on any of the new imacs?
