G4 1.42ghz iBook and CS2

Does any one have this laptop? I'm buying one used with 1gb ram and will mainly be doing Photoshop/FInal Cut work in it. What's it like? I know it'll be a huge improvement over my G4 TiBook.

My roommate has that exact configuration.

I've worked on it extensively and can say that it's not bad at all. It runs Photoshop perfectly (albeit a little slow coming from a Dual G5) and runs Final Cut well enough to get things done.

I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Awesome.. I figured I wouldn't be for $615 USD and it's basically brand new with AppleCare still.

I currently am running CS2 on my 1.42 ghz ibook. Runs fine for me, slower than my G5 and slower than my fathers macbook pro, but runs fine on this machine.

I run CS2 on my 1.33ghz 1GBram 12 inch G4 iBook with no problems...

This laptop is just going to provide me something quicker as a "filler" notebook until I'm able to purchase a MBP.

My buddy just got a decked out 17" and it's siiiiiiiiiiiick...

I have ran photoshop 7 on both of my ibooks (look left to see specs) and they have done fine.

i want a mbp really bad too. I won't get one though until next spring, just bought my ibook g4. After i sell my g3 ibook I will have enough money to upgrade my ibook, max ram, new battery, OS 10.4 or 10.5 (have 10.3 right now). I wanted the model you are getting but the deal i got on this ibook was a great.
