What kind of app do i need to read a .daa file

This suggests that your .DAA file is most likely a CD/DVD image file, and suggests that PowerISO is the authoring program.

From another web page, I got this extract:

.daa

Direct-Access-Archive file. This is a proprietary CD/DVD image file format from PowerISO file. It supports features such as compression, password protection and splitting across multiple volumes.

thanks mac57. By the looks of it, it's a windows only thing, so might be in trouble
