Switching from 10.3.9 to 9.2

iMac G4 700mhz 10.3.9 & 2.4ghz 1.5 gb 10.4.8
I wanna give it a shot and was just curious, being that i didnt install os 9, do they also have a login screen, and if it does, how do i revert back to using os x? thanks

No login for OS 9

The startup disk control panel in OS 9 or the startup disk preference pane in OS X will allow you to choose the OS to boot to.
