G'day christm,

Didn't you have this trouble before??

If you double-click the avi file, does it open in QuickTime?

Look at QuickTime>Window>Show Movie Info.

I think the problem is the little endian codec which I think only works on Pentium PC's ... I'm looking for a solution now ... stay tuned Chris.

Can you try this Chris:

Import the file into iTunes but set the import prefs to AIFF beforehand. When the movie is converted to AIFF, try to import it into iMovie.

I think ffmpegX is worth a try. It's the little Endian codec that's the trouble.
