iPod won't charge in the dock

When I plug it into the the dock which is plugged into the wall, it won't charge it, but when I plug my iPod into my computer, it will charge. It will also charged when docked with the stereo.

Any idea why it won't charge in the dock?

have you tried a different wall outlet? Is it possible you just have a bad dock?

Do you have the right adaptor for your ipod? Also, try pressing the ipod down a bit. Sometimes it doesnt charge when the ipod doesnt make a snug fit with the dock.
