I brought my macbook out of sleep and then it was as if everything was restarted. All my progs were closed and such.

Now all my widgets are gone. I am just about to put them all back.

All of this on the heels of downloading the 10.4.9 patch.

Related?

edit: also i noticed the my istatpro widget seems to be a bit off when it is giving me a readout on RAM usage

weird. could be related.

i'm waiting on the patch. always used to do that with windows too. let them patch, let them catch the problems that inevitably come with said patch, then patch. ;)

I had my widgets all go away with 10.4.9 and had to replace them.

If it was the first time you brought the computer up after installing the patch, it might have restarted on its own (it's supposed to).

yeah me too iam going to wait for a bit until they fix this update. Some installed it without a glich and a few are having trouble either lost widgets or their screen hangs up on the grey apple logo with the spining wheel.

I downloaded the OSX update and there was no glitch after installation.
