hey all,

for some reason i've lost sound on some internet pages... for example, on myspace i used to be able to listen to all the band songs, and i also had sound on youtube.... but now.... sound no more..... :(
i do have sound on apple's page where we had that ring ring advert for iphone.... maybe i'll watch that.... forever... hehe

but no, seriously.... if anyone can help me i would really really appreciate it...

Both MySpace and YouTube use Flash for their content. You may just need to update your version of Flash Player...

no joy my friend... i downloaded the latest flash player, installed, restarted my mac and no joy :(
i'm using both safari and firefox to test, and still have no sound on youtube...

iphone advert still sounds terrific though....

thanx for the help,,,, but dare i ask........

any more suggestions please??

Try these two. Open Garage Band and play a few notes then quit. See if sound on YT returns. Also a Reboot might do it. Depends on the issue.

i never would have predicted that playing a few notes on Garage Band would have solved the problem.....
