What OS version are you using? Which browser are you using?

I can see it fine with Safari 2.0.4 in 10.4.8...

According to this entry, there should be a SVG plug-in for Safari. I can't find it right now but I also stumbled upon this entry in the Surfin' Safari blog and it seems that in the latest version, support for .svg should be implemented by now?

Weird....I'm using 10.4.8 and Safari 2.0.4 on an Intel Core 2 Duo imac and with flip4mac installed. Still getting the "Safari cannot find the internet plugin" message

Well I'm at school right now and the bell just rang. Google it up, you should find it within a few minutes.

Open Safari running under Rosetta (plugin not universal)
